Its almost one year since surgery. doing well . Daily jogging for 3km and doing some weight training. my leg is very strong and started to play badminton.

Pre surgery workout

today my weight is 95 kgs. have been doing a lot of excercise and strenthening of thigh muscles for quick recovery post surgery. been on diet for the past 15 days. started to go on optifast for quick shredding of kgs. morning 2.4 km and gym for 30 min. evening in recumbent bike for 30 mins. goal is to reach 90 kgs before 6th of sep. lets try.

What Happened to my Knee?

The injury first happened before 16 years when playing cricket. while bowling i heared a pop sound and knee giving out. the knee swelled immediatly but had less pain. so bed rest for 15 days. Then the knee ant the leg movement came back as normal and till last january i had no problem with the knee. this january while playing shuttle badmiton i hade another twist in the knee and had a bulge.

This time we went for MRI and diagnised with a full torn ACL and torn meniscus. So my doc advised for a surgery with an ortho. Finally we fixed an appointment with Dr.David v Rajan, Ortho one coimbatore on 29th of july. Had his opinion for surgery and the date has been fixed at 8th of september. Even with Acl tear i have no discomfort with my knee for walking or running. My doc advised for weight reduction. i have gathered weight to 99 kgs. now iam 36 yrs old waiting for the surgery. Hope surgery is not so tensed as some feel . please share your experience.
